London Fire Brigade

Dear Gareth,

Thank you for your request for information about aerial appliances.

I can advise you that the LFEPA Resources Committee agreed to bring forward of the aerial replacement programme in September 2016. That report can be found here (http://moderngov.london-fire.gov.uk/mgco... ). The specification for those appliances was not discussed.

At the meeting of the Committee on 21 July 2017, the Commissioner set out the financial implications of additional resourcing requirements that included a provision for three extended height aerial appliances. That report can be found here (http://moderngov.london-fire.gov.uk/mgco... ).

I hope this provides you with the information you were looking for.

Your request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If you are dissatisfied by this response you can request an internal review by writing to the Head of Information Management and Performance at the address below (or email [email address]).

Further information about your information rights (including how to raise a concern or make a compliant) is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office on their website at www.ico.org.uk or by writing to them at Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
