2. Can you also tell me how much revenue WMP in conjunction safer roads
camera partnership you have made from catching people speeding from last
years financial year to this year please?
REPLY: Your request for information has now been considered and I am not
obliged to comply with Section 1(1) of the Act, on this occasion and am
not obliged to supply the information you have requested as this part of
the request is considered Vexatious under Section 14(1). This response
therefore acts as a refusal notice under the terms of Section 17(1) of the
Act.
Please be advised that Section 14 (1) of the Freedom of Information
legislation states that an authority is not obliged to comply with a
request for information if the request is deemed vexatious. Requests are
deemed vexatious if they fit one of more of the following criteria:
* It is fair to regard the request as obsessive
*The request is designed to cause disruption or annoyance
*The request lacks any serious purpose or value

Please be mindful that each request submitted requires the use of police
resources to retrieve, collate and review the information requested and
that it would not be in the public interest for Freedom of Information
legislation to be used for requests that lack any serious purpose or
value, as using police resources in this way would detract from the core
purpose of policing i.e. preventing or detecting crime and preservation of
life.

You have requested the same or similar information from the force at least
twice previously (reference 8431 and 8473), and on each occasion you have

vexatious under Section 14(1).

REPLY: Please be advised that this is not a valid Freedom of information
Act request as it does not fulfil Section 8 of the Act. It is not a
request for specific recorded information and the authority does not have
to answer your question if this would mean creating new information or
giving an opinion or judgement that is not already recorded. Please be
advised that the FOI Act only extends to requests for recorded
information, It does not require public authorities to answer questions
generally and your question asks us whether other agencies are aware of
certain details. Therefore this part of the request can not be dealt with
under the Freedom of Information Act.

accurate as possible

Dear Mrs R Williams ,

You say you are not a corporate company, but you have a VAT number...

As Chief Constable Anthony Bagham of West Mercia Police has accepted the Uniform Commercial Code, how can you state you are not a corporate company ?

As the Chief Constable is a corporation sole he is legally binding, he is solely responsible along with his accomplices for legal matters ?

Isn't policing by consent or are you saying persons have no status unless they are people (public/private) ?

kind regards,

peter danby & associates
