Dear Mr McKinstry

Information Request - Freedom of Information Act

Further to your request for information received on 23/05/2022 I am now able to confirm why the video of the inaugural Corporate and Community Overview and Scrutiny Committee's meeting was temporarily offline: Essentially, YouTube uses a piece of software that detects music within any given YouTube video and can make an automated copyright claim against it which removes it from the listing. There was an automated claim against the video in question due to the music in the video - It was YouTube rather than BCP that took the video down. This issue was quickly resolved and the video is back online.

I hope that this deals with your request satisfactorily.
