Dear Cambridgeshire County Council,

Please could you provide the rate of confirmed coronavirus cases amongst school staff for each week in November and December.

I would like you to split the figures into primary, secondary and special schools if possible.

In addition, I would like you to split them into staff category: teacher, teaching assistant, support staff and auxiliary staff if possible.

At the present time, this service (services) are under great pressure due
to the impact of the corona-virus and are working hard to care and support
for our communities.  We have logged your request and will assess whether
we are able to respond at this time or advise when it is likely that you

timeframe for the completion of this request.

Please could you provide the rate of confirmed coronavirus cases amongst
school staff for each week in November and December.

I can confirm that Cambridgeshire County Council does hold this data.
However, we do not own this information and are, therefore, unable to
share this with you for reasons set out below.

 

Schools around the UK, including those from Cambridgeshire, provide this
information directly to the Department for Education (DfE). Therefore,
Cambridgeshire County Council does not hold copies of the original data.
We do, however, have access to the data via the Identity and Access
Management Systems. We are not at liberty to share this information with
you as the DfE have classed it as being ‘Official – sensitive’ and for
internal use only.

 

You may find it useful to know that the DfE publish data from the survey
every two weeks and make the this available for public viewing on their
