details of the MPT hearing concerning Dr Alyson Wheeler that concluded on
18 January 2022. I have considered your request under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

 

I can't provide the information you requested as we're currently planning
to publish the determination in the near future. Unfortunately, there are
some delays regarding the publication of hearing determinations, but we're
planning on publishing the determination in around 4 weeks. I have
provided details of the relevant exemption below.

 

The exemption

 

Section 22 of the FOIA is the exemption which applies to information
intended for future publication. This exemption is subject to a public
interest test and I believe that the public interest in maintaining the
exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Decision now available:

'29. The Tribunal noted in particular paragraph 19 of GMP which states that ‘Documents ...must be clear, accurate and legible.” By using the wrong codes, the records were not clear or accurate. It might have been accepted practice at the surgery to use the incorrect codes but nevertheless Dr Wheeler had a personal responsibility to ensure there was a clear and accurate record.

30. The Tribunal therefore determined to amend records using incorrect codes was misconduct that was serious.' (page 45)
