REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

 

I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your request of 20th December
which I have pasted your request below for our records.

 

I can confirm that the request is being dealt with by the Chemicals
Regulation Directorate (CRD) under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(FOIA).  The FOIA provides a system of fully enforceable rights of access
to information held by public authorities such as the Health & Safety
Executive (HSE) subject to limited exemptions such as the protection of
the confidentiality of commercial information.

 

As required by the Act, we aim to answer your request within 20 working
days from the date we receive it; i.e. in this case by 22nd January.  If
for any reason we are unable to meet this deadline we will keep you fully
informed of the reasons for this and will tell you when you can expect a
response.
