Dear Sir or Madam,

Please provide copies of the agenda, papers and minutes from your management board during 2007 and 2008.

For any period when the board was not set up, please provide the agenda, papers and minutes for the most senior group meetings then in place.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Sir or Madam,

I made a request for information on 12th December for

"copies of the agenda, papers and minutes from your
management board during 2007 and 2008."

and

"For any period when the board was not set up, please provide the agenda, papers and minutes for the most senior group meetings then in place."

By law, the response had to be prompt but no later than 15 January 2009. Under the Freedom of Information Act you should have replied by now, and are breaking the law.

Please respond with a full reply.

Yours sincerely,

Jo Simons

John Moyer,

Dear Jo Simons

Thank you for your email of 16 January. We have no record of receiving your earlier request, and apologise for lack of response.

We will consider your request and respond as soon as possible. The officials dealing with your request will be myself and Sue Dookun.

Dear John Moyer,

As I note that of the three FOI requests submitted via the www.whatdotheyknow.com site, all have taken more than the statutory period and up to 6 months. And I also note that your reply to me is almost identical to that given to Mr Gavin Starky (http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/in...). In both cases, you appear not to be acknowledging FOI requests until your office is chased.

I believe my request was properly submitted to you, so the twenty working days your office had to reply began on the 12th December.

Please reply immediately, with a specific date for a full response. I am also requesting a formal internal review of the case so far, since I believe the Government Equalities Office are not replying to valid requests as a matter of course.

Yours sincerely,

Jo Simons

Dear John Moyer,

I have corresponded with you today in respect of a separate FOI request. I am still waiting for both;
a) a reply to this request, which was due on the 15th January and
b) to the formal request for an internal review of your handling of the case to date.

I wish to see replies to both. For reference the original request was;
"Please provide copies of the agenda, papers and minutes from your management board during 2007 and 2008.

For any period when the board was not set up, please provide the agenda, papers and minutes for the most senior group meetings then in place."

I await your earliest reply.

Yours sincerely,

Jo Simons

John Moyer,

Dear Jo Simons,

Thank you for your email of 18 February and clarification.

The request (a) that you made on 15 December, was not received by GEO until you sent it again on 16 January, when we acknowledged it. Our reference number is GEO/09/FOI/000011.

Your request (b) for an internal review is also acknowledged.

A response to this now overdue request needs to be approved by our Corporate Services Director, Chris Bull. He will also make arrangements for an internal review.

I will reply separately about your other request.
