Good morning Cheryl,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I have looked on our system and can see that your request hasn’t been logged. I've done an advanced search of the inbox and cannot find the initial request.

I've had a look at the what do they know page for this request and I can see that there was no automated response to the initial email from then 18/10/19.

What I can't see on the site is to which email you sent the request - could you check that for me?

At this stage as I have no evidence of the request being received on the 18th October I will log the request as received on 5th November.

I can change this date if it was received in the business on the 18th.

Kind regards,

Sera Jones

The request was received by the Natural Resources Body for Wales' mail server.  We indicate this with the green tick on the outgoing message, you can click on "delivered" for more details. Our green tick is hopefully as good as, if not better, than recorded delivery via the post, and we are an independent third party who can testify that your request was sent, and delivered.

The Natural Resources Body for Wales' mail server responded to WhatDoTheyKnow.com handing it your message with a "250" response which means it has been received OK.   https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5321 A message ID of 25482040972312 was issued and their email server told ours that it had "Queued mail for delivery".

The Natural Resources Body for Wales are using a mail server under the domain "mail.protection.outlook.com". It appears possible this an email filtering system and the Natural Resources Body for Wales may be misusing it or it may be misconfigured, if they're losing legitimate emails.

Dear Natural Resources Body for Wales,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Natural Resources Body for Wales's handling of my FOI request '‘Conversations’ with Ofgem re Biomass no 2 in Barry'.

I have been notified that this request was not received when I sent it and querying the email address it was sent to. What do they know have confirmed the request was received by yourselves on the 18th of October. It seems strange that follow up requests from what do they know have been received by you with no query about which email address they’ve been sent to. I would appreciate if this request could be dealt with as soon as possible as the information should have been with me by the 15th of November. Even my follow up to say I hadn’t received an acknowledgement took 8 days to reply to. If there is a problem I will contact the information commissioner.

Thank you

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Cheryl Ockerby
