Contaminated Brownfield Land

The request was partially successful.

Dear St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please provide a copy of the brownfield land register along with details of sites from the Public Registers that have formally been determined as Contaminated Land under the EPA of 1990 -

Please advise how much contaminated land has been 'cleaned up' and whether these cleaned up sites have been carried out by private enterprise or by the Council.

Please also provide costs of what contaminated land the council has remediated and where the monies came from for the clean up - ie public purse or English Partnership etc.

Thanks

Yours faithfully,

WHill
