2. Annual budget spent on nurse qualifications (post registration qualifications).

It is not possible to provide a specific budget allocation for nursing staff as the information held relates to all registered practitioners and is not broken down into specific professional groups.

With regards to all professional groups there is an allocation from the North West Strategic Health Authority (SHA) of 100 20 credit modules and access to a 'unique and specialist fund' which is managed via the SHA. There is also a cash allocation of £43k which is allocated against organisational priorities any may be used for qualifications.
