Consolidation program
Dear Social Care Wales,
I understand that a social worker in Wales must complete a consolidation program in either their second or third year working in the field.
I understand that the consolidation program takes them from graduate to competent practitioners.
My question is for a social worker to prove they are competent to Continue to work in their field would they have to complete certain tasks during their first years to prove themselves.
Example various child orders, working with families to turn them around.
Please can you provide a list of actual tasks they would undertake that would go towards their merits for their consolidation program
Yours faithfully,
Gemma
