Dear Caerphilly County Borough Council,

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please provide any information that you hold answering to the following.

Please provide names used and any explanatory notes supplied when referencing protected characteristics in any equality impact assessments used when determining changes in policies provision or services.

If you use any additional protected characteristics other than those specifically described in the Equality act 2010 or the specific regulations that may apply in Wales, please provide these and and explanations why these are used.

Specifically for the protected characteristic Gender reassignment please confirm you use Gender reassignment - meaning those in possession of a Gender recognition certificate as per the Gender recognition act.

Specifically for the protected characteristic Sex, please confirm you use the sex indicators man or boy meaning adult /child human of the male sex and woman/girl meaning adult or child of the female sex and no other meanings. Adults with GRC being addressed under the protected characteristics of Gender reassignment.
