...and it's taken 19 days to do that!

With respect, the Legal Office at Wigan Council know fine well the nature of complaints I am interested in as they are dealing with my initial complaint.

I request each and every complaint about parking issues on Wintergreen Close and Ledgard Avenue within the last three years.

As the council is aware, double yellow lines have been placed on these roads by the council without consultation and now I, and my neighbours (and our children and elderly parents and friends) are to be prevented from parking outside our homes. When I complained, amongst lots of other tripe, I was told the decision to place these yellow lines on the road was due to complaints that have been made. I therefore want details of all relevant complaints about any PARKING issues on the relevant streets so I can fully inform the Ombudsman when I complain to him, which will be the very next day after the council returns my stage 2 complaint.

I will also be complaining that it took 19 days to ask a straightforward query when in fact my initial request was very clear - so please get a move on!

Thanks

Yours faithfully,

Tim McArdle
