Mike Jones, Appointments Commission

Dear Mrs Havercroft

Thank you for your enquiry.

In the first instance, one should complain formally about a non-executive director to the chair of the body to which they are appointed.

I hope this information is helpful. If you require any further information, please let me know.

Dear Mike Jones,

thank you for your reply. When the Board Chair of a Primary Care Trust is the subject of a complaint regarding adherence to Code of Conduct for NHS Managers, Nolan Standards etc, to which organisation should the complaint formally be made?

Yours sincerely,

Mrs D Havercroft

Mike Jones, Appointments Commission

Dear Mrs Havercroft

If the Chair of a PCT is the subject of a formal complaint, this should be directed to the Chair of the relevant Strategic Health Authority.
