Dear Mr Dawson

Thank you for your request.

The CAA do not hold ‘average numbers of complaints’ with respect to
luggage claims under the Montreal Convention. However, we have very
recently responded to a request which contained the data the CAA hold up
to 25 February 2020 relating to claims escalated to the CAA. The response
to this request is attached with the previous requestors personal
information redacted.

You will see from the response that the data the CAA hold is not
representative of the number of lost, damaged or delayed baggage claims.

We are of course happy to consider your below request but hopefully this
provides the information that you are seeking insofar as it is possible.
We are happy to provide formal response if you would wish, please do let
me know.

Kind regards
