Complaints

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, West Midlands Police should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear West Midlands Police,

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I would like to request the following information to be based on complaints issued against West Midlands Police officers for the last 10 years.

In each of the last 10 years:

How many complaints have been issued against police officers by the public?

How many Police officers have lost their job due to investigation into a complaint from the public?

......................

Are there any police officers currently employed that have had a considerable amount of complaints made against them since their employment (considerable is more than 10)

Is there any documentation of these complaints that is available to the public through FOI? (There does not seem to be anything online through there websites)

I would be most interested in any information held by your organisation regarding my request.

Yours faithfully,

Kathryn Emerson
