From 1 January 2011 to date how many applicaations have Stoke on Trent City Council recieved for Community Asset Transfer (CAT)of buildings and facilities under their management?

We have now considered your request for information and a copy of the
information is below.
· From 1 January 2011 to date how many applications have Stoke on
Trent City Council received for Community Asset Transfer (CAT) of
buildings and facilities under their management?
Since January 2011 fourteen voluntary sector groups have started the
community asset transfer process. In addition to these fourteen there are
potentially 8 - 10 city council owned community centres who could
potentially be involved in the CAT process.
· How many of the above number have been successfully completed and
transferred under CAT to the management of community groups, charitable
organisations or not for profit companies?
One CAT has been approved and the lease negotiations are near completion.
The information supplied may be used for domestic or journalistic
purposes. Its use for commercial gain including issuing to the public may
be subject to the issue of a licence under the Reuse of Public Sector
Information Regulations 2005.
