Cllr Bullen has phoned me to say the council has just asked him if he's happy for his emails to be released. Cllr Bullen told me has said he's happy for everything to be released and says the council should provide it all to me later today.

Cllr Bullen told me he was away on a trip including a visit to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit. He was planning to return to the council meeting if his vote was likely to be critical, but he decided not to attend when he learnt that Labour were supporting the plans for "devolution" and a mayor for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Cllr Bullen told me would have only sought to claim for UK travel, but he was advised that due to there being an international element the approval of group leaders would be required. (I'm not sure that makes sense I'm just reporting what I was told as I understand it). Cllr Bullen told me he had enough "Avios" (Avios are the new name for British Airways air miles) to pay for the flight.
