CLINICAL TUTOR ADMIN (Adam Conlin), University of Edinburgh

Dear Monika,

Apologies for the delay in responding to your request. Please see the
following responses:

Q. Could you publish the number of students who were shortlisted for
interview as well as the number of students given offers for the
DClinPsych programme, who:

Universities of Dundee and Stirling or the MSc in Applied Psychology
(Healthcare) For Children and Young People at University of Edinburgh;

Amongst the applications received for our 2020 intake the numbers for
applicants holding the requested qualifications were as follows:

·       Of 104 Interviewees:

-          10 held MSc Psychological Therapy in Primary Care at the
Universities of Dundee and Stirling

-          11 held MSc in Applied Psychology (Healthcare) For Children and
Young People at University of Edinburgh

·       Of 53 offers:

-          6 held MSc Psychological Therapy in Primary Care at the
Universities of Dundee and Stirling

-          8 held MSc in Applied Psychology (Healthcare) For Children and

Q. Could you publish the number of students who were shortlisted for
interview as well as the number of students given offers for the
DClinPsych programme, who:

- held one or more assistant psychologist positions only;

- held one or more clinical research assistant positions only.

To produce this information we would have to manually download and check
each application individually to determine whether or not they had held
one of the positions described, this would be in excess of 100
applications for each year checked . Doing so would cost more than £100,
the limit over which the University is able to charge a fee for responding
to requests. The level of the fee is set by legislation, and is set at 10%
of any cost over £100, to a maximum of £50. Please let me know if you
would like this charge to be calculated.

The basis on which we calculate the cost of responding to freedom of
information requests is set out in the freedom of information charging
information

on our website.
