-Type of Vehicle (Including Van's Wheelbase and Roof Size)
-Number of Doors (Example: 3-Door, 5-Door etc)
-The Role of the Vehicle (Including Firearms Unit)
-Marked or Unmarked
-The Year the Vehicle was Commissioned
-The Year the Vehicle was Decommissioned

Did The Firearms Unit used these vehicles as Armed Response Vehicles? (Yes or No For Each Vehicle).

I write in connection with your request for information dated 3rd May 2021 and received by this office on 4th May 2021. Please accept our apologies for the delay in replying, your patience is appreciated.

Below are the questions raised in your request and our response.

Part 1
Can you please give me a list of the Cleveland Police Vehicle Fleet 2012 & 2013.

a) We have attached a document that contains information for 2013, we no longer hold data from 2012. WE are unable to provide information regarding the decommissioning of vehicles as it will have been archived and/or deleted.
Part 2
Did The Firearms Unit used these vehicles as Armed Response Vehicles? (Yes or No For Each Vehicle).

a) No information held. Following enquiries with our Fleet Admin Team we have been advised that the Fleet system information gets archived and deleted periodically so we cannot provide an answer.
The force did previously have Senators and Omegas but we cannot determine what year or whether they were assigned to Firearms and as these models are no longer available (and haven’t been for some time the Fleet Admin team are unable to carry out a search on our system to find them.

Please note any statistical data supplied in relation to Freedom of Information requests is a snapshot of data held at the time the request was received by the Freedom of Information office and is subject to constant change/updates.

The Cleveland Police response to your request is unique and it should be noted that Police Forces do not use generic systems or identical procedures to capture and record data therefore responses from Cleveland Police should not be used as a comparison with any other force response you receive.

If you are not satisfied with this response or any actions taken in dealing with your request you have the right to request an independent internal review of your case under our review procedure. The APP College of Policing guidance states that a request for internal review should be made within 20 working days of the date on this response or 40 working days if extenuating circumstances to account for the delay can be evidenced.

We have made every effort to ensure a response was provided within statutory deadlines, however due to current circumstances delays have been unavoidable.
