Dear Vale of Glamorgan Council,
Please provide evidence of whether the Vale of Glamorgan Council or it's sub contractor Parkwood Leisure are responsible for the cleansing and litter collection at Cogan Leisure Centre including the Car Park, Grassed Area and adjacent Playing Fields.
Please provide written evidence including dates of inspection of the standards of cleansing and maintenance carried out at Cogan Leisure Centre Car Park' Grassed Area and Playing Fields within the last two years.
This should include event detail and a copy of the Council's Policy on the disposal of dangerous sharp objects and other items identified as related to substance abuse and drug taking on Council owned Property.

Dear Vale of Glamorgan Council,

I have considered your request and having liaised with the relevant
department please find below the information held:-

 

The Grounds and the Car Park are the responsibility of the Council.

 

Cogan Playing fields are programmed to be visited / litter picked every
day [ applies to normal weekdays only]

 

Please find attached separately the Council’s policy on Needle Stick
Injuries.
