Dear Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge,

I am writing to kindly request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:

A document that lists:
- average UMS
- subjects taken
- predicted grades
- interview scores
- number of GCSEs at A*
- admission assessment scores
for each Classics (3 years) and History applicant in the 2016 and 2017 entry admissions cycles (listing both admissions cycles separately)

Yours faithfully,

Alex Zhou

Fitzwilliam College Bursar, Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge

Dear Mr Zhou

Further to your Freedom of Information request of 5th December, I can
tell you that we are unable to release data at an individual level due
to the Data Protection Act and that we do not retain data for
unsuccessful applicants. There were no direct applicants for the 3 year
course in Classics in 2016. Due to the very small number of successful
Classics applicants in 2017, data cannot be released (Section 40 (2) of
the Act applies). However the following data, which is applicable to
successful applicants in History only, may be helpful.

History 2017:

Average UMS scores were in the range 84.5 to 92.75

Subjects taken included History, Economics, Geography, English Language,
Government and Politics, English Literature, Maths and Religious Studies

Predicted A level scores were in the range A*AA* to A*A*A*

Interview scores were in the range 6 to 8

Numbers of GCSEs at A* were in the range 1 to 10

Admissions assessment scores are not released.

History 2016:

Average UMS scores were in the range 79.76 to 89.9

Subjects taken included History, English Language, Government and
Politics, English Literature, Maths, Biology, Physics, Psychology and
Politics

Predicted A level scores were in the range AA*A* or ABA*A to A*A*AA*

Interview scores were in the range 6 to 9

Numbers of GCSEs at A* were in the range 1 to 10

Admissions assessment scores are not released.
