The request was refused by Church of England.

Dear Church of England,

On Sunday the 21st of February, 2021, at around 9AM, groups of volunteers from different households gathered in the grounds of St. Annes in the Grove C of E church, Southowram, to collectively clear the footpath leading to the church, during the time of a national lockdown and COVID19 pandemic. This was advertised openly on Facebook, with invitation for all to come and join in, and bring money for tea and cake. The church are purported to have provided this refreshment, with other volunteers from seperate households also providing refreshments and baking. This does not appear to be a permitted activity under the C of E's lockdown guidance, and I believe a risk assessment should have been carried out prior to this activity.
Please can you provide a copy of the risk assessment.

Yours faithfully,

Phil Clarke
