Dear Ms Ellerby

Your request for information ref. SOT74387 about number of pupils aged 5 -
18 currently with no educational provision, numbers of same who are on the
SEND register or have an EHCP or statement.

We have now considered your request and a copy of the information is
enclosed below.

The information supplied may be used for domestic or journalistic
purposes. Its use for commercial gain including issuing to the public,

How many pupils aged 5 - 18, do not currently have any educational
provision?

Response:

82 do not currently have any educational provision

13 – will be statutory school age in January

69 – awaiting admission – moved into the city

These figures were produced before the start of term so numbers will
differ today as some of those awaiting admission will have started in
January. Also new children have arrived in the city and applications have
been made for them.

How many pupils aged 5 - 18 on the SEND register, do not currently have
any educational provision?

Response: We do not keep a record of School Support pupils apart from what
is on census and these pupils all have a school hence why they are
recorded on school census.

How many pupils aged 5 – 18 with an EHCP or statement, do not currently
have any educational provision?

Response: According to our system, we have 1,920 pupils aged 5-18 with an
EHCP/Statement. Of these, 164 do not have any educational provision.
