Children in Care

General Social Care Council did not have the information requested.

Dear General Social Care Council,

I would like to know the answer to these following questions

1. If each social worker has thirty to fifty cases , how can she/he
assure the safety of each and EVERY child well being under his/her
care?.

If each and every single social worker has children on her case
load that is in foster care . How can she/he assure that, that
child is not being assaulted mentally , physically or sexually by
other persons?.

If each and every social worker is visiting the child in the foster
placement every six to twelve weeks, how can they assess if the
child is in immediate danger?

If a team manager overseeing each and every social worker has over
one or two hundred cases in their case load , how does he/she
assess whether all is well with social work management ?

What is the overall spend on each local authority Child Protection
cases per annum ?

What is the overall spend on each local authority Looked after
children cases per annum?

Does the council tax paid by citizens pay for the children's
welfare ?

What is the cost of residential care , compared to state care ?

Yours faithfully,

Melizza Moore
