ENEHL Enquiries,

Our Ref: FOI/9370/04/02/2013

Hi Vera

Please find following the response to your e-mail below:

1.            How much CERT and CESP funding did East North East Homes
receive?

ENE received £336.5k CERT funding at the end of 2011/12
Financial Year, we have not received any CESP funding

2.            Has East North East Homes used the CESP funding to retrofit
properties?

ENEHL did not qualify for CESP Funding

3.            If so how much funding did you receive and what are your
carbon savings for any CESP funded areas?

                Not Applicable

4.            Do you have anything in place for the ECO element of the
Green Deal?

ENE Homes are currently participating in a Green Deal
Demonstrator which has secured a combination of ECO subsidy and DECC
funding to 100% fund external wall insulation to around 60 properties over
the next 6 months.

The Energy and Climate Change Manager from the Sustainable
Development Unit is now working with colleagues from Leeds City Council,
ENEHL,WNW Homes and AV Homes to develop a longer term ECO project, aiming
to bring additional ECO subsidy to support external wall insulation to our
remaining system built properties and to attract packages of support for
our multi-storey blocks.  We expect to have interim arrangements in place
by late spring and a full programme by early 2014.

5.            What is your policy with regard to leaseholders accessing
funding to support the carbon reduction targets?

There is no policy as such because leaseholders are not
treated any different to tenants. Any funding that ENEHL access, this used
to fund  energy efficiency work, the only aspect that leaseholders will be
charged for is work not covered by the CERT funding.
