Please provide the following information:

1. Please provide an Information Asset Register for all CCTV cameras in the borough which include unique identifiers and locations of the cameras. Please provide a log of all body worn cameras.

2. Please provide DPIA/PIA for new CCTV installation in the last year.

3. Please provide all documentation when applying to third parties for the Surveillance Camera Commissioner's certification mark.

4. Please provide training manual for CCTV staff.

5. Please provide contractual clauses for roles and responsibilities for staff operating CCTV.

Dear Gemma,

Thank you for your request for information regarding ‘CCTV Cameras’ (reference number 06952). Your request was received on the 29/12/20 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and/or Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

Please note that our response to Freedom of Information Requests (FOIs) may take longer for us to complete at the moment because of COVID-19 implications.

Information on the camera locations within Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council are published within our code of practice which is available on the council website at the following link. https://www.blackburn.gov.uk/sites/defau... . 2. Please provide DPIA/PIA for new CCTV installation in the last year.

There have been no new camera locations in the last year.

3. Please provide all documentation when applying to third parties for the Surveillance Camera Commissioner's certification mark.

There has not been an application for the SCC certification mark.

4. Please provide training manual for CCTV staff.

The CCTV staff are employed by an external private company and therefore the training manual belongs to them and BwD do not have the authority to release this information.

5. Please provide contractual clauses for roles and responsibilities for staff operating CCTV.

CCTV Staff are employed by an external private company and therefore BwD do not have the authority to release this information as it does not belong to us.
