Please find below in speech marks your email confirming your mental health commissioner/accountant does not know that the only service you commission is Eput NHS.

I would like the CCG to reflect on this nonsense and shenanigans?

Since receiving your further questions, I have spoken to the Commissioner for Mental Health Services and the answers are as follows:

There is no list of Trusts to be referred to. Mental health referrals would be made by either your GP to Health in Mind (IAPT) or you can self-refer online. Once received, IAPT triage the referral to the appropriate service.

There is no list of Consultant teams held by the CCG as IAPT triage patients to the appropriate service.

Regarding referrals to mental health, referrals are triaged by IAPT.

In addition, as you previously mentioned you have concerns with EPUT, you would be able to discuss this further with your GP who can discuss if alternative options would be appropriate. If your GP feels it would be appropriate for you to be seen elsewhere then they can request this on your behalf.

It may help to explain that most mental health services are kept local because patients need access to local CRISIS teams, which means any patients who may be seen out of area, would not be able to access local services.

Due to the Covid-19, we have also been made aware that face to face consultations will not be taking place for any mental health referrals.

I would therefore suggest that you may wish to speak to your GP or consider a self-referral as mentioned above.

I have dyslexia and comprehension difficulties
do not use ambiguous communication and put my questions before your replies

1, It took the CCG 6 months to find tell me that the only service it commissions is Eput NHS for secondary care mental health, why?
This question is cataloged in the ongoing correspondence between patient experience and foi, since 2019.
2, I chased this particular question on many occasions and even suggested at the start of the 6-month saga it was Eput NHS only, why?
3 When I said I chased i said this was the most important information i required for treatment purposes, why could I not have been told sooner.
4 I contacted other none Essex CCG and they replied almost immediately with what services they commission, why cannot mid essex staff not know so simple information?
5, In the email, I referenced the commissioner did not know the only service he commissioned was Eput. As he did not have a list with just Eput on it, he could generate a list that day with Eput NHS, so total nonsense.
So I think we are messing about with the words list or telling me which service the ccg commission in my books is the same thing.
6, I think this is appalling, and contacted Amanda Prichard to give her feedback about this nonsense.
7, So not providing this information via patient experience or foi was obviously done on purpose, why or is the whole organization incompetent?

The ccg hardly ever contacts me to clarify in its communications and just gives answers times just the answer "the ccg is not going to give an answer", as you have recently.

My original email pasted below, which was chased numerous times (and in my chases re wording my questions so the ccg could understand) resulted in the CCG mental health commission not being able to even tell me the CCG only commissions Eput NHS the "List" of I was requesting.
CCG is a very unhelpful organization

Don't tell me its Eput only, then its no choice?

If its Eput only or some other essex cowboy outfit, then please raise a formal complaint immediately for me with CCG as there is no choice in practice.
