Can you please advise how many residents in care homes in Edinburgh have died or been hospitalised following administration of a "covid" vaccine?
I can confirm that your request will be processed under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Environmental Information Regulations (Scotland) 2004, or the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009.
You will receive the information requested within 20 working days unless the Council does not hold the information, or there is a reason for it to be withheld. We will write to you in any event. This means we have until 22/02/2021 to respond to your request.
In some circumstances a fee may be payable and if that is the case we will let you know.

vaccine for any reason and how many have subsequently died.
No residents have been hospitalised following the administration of a
covid vaccine for any reason and subsequently died.

Please note that not all deaths recorded or hospitalisations after the
first vaccine had been administered were attributed to Covid-19.
1. What date did the 'vaccine' roll out begin and how many days after did
your reply cover from administration to death or hospitalisation?
Vaccination roll out for CEC Care Homes started on 11 January 2021. The
date of the first death after vaccination was 29 January 2021.
2. How many residents have now died to date in care homes in Edinburgh
since administration of a 'covid vaccine' to now and how many have been
hospitalised?
12 have been hospitalised
19 deaths since being vaccinated
