Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear Broads Authority,

Can you please advise if you have any byelaws relating to the use off UAVs from your land, and if so can you please elder provide a copy or the link to their location on a website.

If you do not have any byelaws, do you have any other policies relating to the use of UAVs on your land?

Can you finally advise if these have been reviewed in relation to CQP722C (https://publicapps.caa.co.uk/modalapplic...) published by the Civil Aviation Authority in December 2020.

Yours faithfully,

Simon Hawkins

Rob Leigh, Broads Authority

Dear Simon,

Please find below the following responses regarding your FOI request.

We do not have any specific bylaws relating to the flying of UAV’s on land
owned by the Broads Authority.

We do however offer general guidance on the flying of UAV’s within the
Broads National Park (not just Broads Authority owned land) on our website
which is linked here: [1]Drone Use (broads-authority.gov.uk) . This
guidance and is currently being reviewed in light of the latest Civil
Aviation Authority guidance and policy document. The Authority is also
considering if the changes require us to adapt our own drone use. The
Authority has one employee licensed to fly a drone in order to capture
images for promotional and project management use.

Regards

Rob
