Dear Mr Wallington,

I am writing to respond to your request for a senior officer review of Wigan Council's decision in relation to your freedom of information request ID 4808. You have requested a review because your FOI request was submitted on 24th July 2013 and you have not, to date, received a response.

My decision on review is that Wigan Council should either provide the information you have requested or issue you a valid refusal notice.

I have notified the relevant officers of the Council accordingly.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of this response you can complain to the Information Commissioner, who is the regulator for Freedom of Information. His website is www.informationcommisioner.gov.uk and his helpline number is 0303 1231113.
