Bus stop passenger count
Dear Transport for London,
I am after data on passenger numbers for Tfl bus stops?
by this, I mean data gathered from the passenger surveys that TfL carry out I am just after the data on how many get on and off at all bus stops based on the latest surveys for each route that TfL operates.
Yours faithfully,
Glen Turnbull

Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 5

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can
confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:

Please find the requested data attached. It’s from autumn 2018, it’s
representative of a typical day and gives the 24 hour weekday boarding and
alighting information for all stops on the network.
Please note that alightings on bus routes are inferred (through our Oyster
system) and therefore do not exactly match the boarding numbers. This is
based on Oyster and Contactless Payment cards data and is scaled to add in
additional journeys.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable
to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to
appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would
like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
