Bus Breakdown Statistics in South Yorkshire

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive,

I am enquiring about incidents throughout South Yorkshire, Doncaster in particular. Of how often buses are 'tonked', this is the process of someone cutting off the bus engine by opening the engine cover at the back. Incidents occurring in or around Thorne Market Place is an area I'm keen to find information on.

Also, I would like any information you have in place of trying to decrease the number of incidents per year.

Yours faithfully,
Daniel Barwell

Dear Traveline,

Your response does not answer my original point on how many of these events have occurred.

Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like information, not for you to turn my question into feedback as you did previously

Yours sincerely,

Danel Barwell
