Bullying Due To Planning Application Objections

A recent planning application for Abergele has seen online bullying which has been photographed.
The Group online named planning objectors names and addresses and discussed their nationality online.
Also people were being named as objecting despite there being no objections from them.
A number of people were very distressed by this.
Can the council please clarify the following
1, What protection do people objecting to planning applications have from bullying or intimidation regarding planning objections?
2, Have people got the right to cut and paste objections onto social media with addresses?
3, Due to events like this some people may be intimidated not to object, due to this bullying.
4, Can people in these circumstances be protected?
5, What policies does the council have on this?

be a matter for the Police or obtain their own legal advice

due to this bullying.

letters:  The law requires that any comments received regarding a planning
application become public documents. This means that such comments may be
seen by members of the public, the applicant and can be viewed online.
