Dear West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust,

I would like to know the figure spent for your last 3 complete fiscal years (assuming the most recent complete fiscal year ended in 2017) on Community First Responders / Volunteer Emergency Responders - and if you differentiate these roles (i.e. one is blue light trained, one is not), please provide the different figures spent where possible.

Dear :Freedom Of Information Mailbox,

To clarify, I am seeking to understand the overall investment by your Ambulance Service into Volunteer Responders (whether CFRs, or additional blue light trained Responders) - this could include costs of equipment, training, dedicated systems / licences & the salaries of any/all staff dedicated to the volunteer Responders.

If you have multiple categories of spend you deem to have been spent on volunteer Responders please provide these summarised by the categories you hold. I am hoping it simplifies the question if I ask about all volunteer Responders whether directly volunteering, or through partner charities - St Johns / Red Cross & locally established smaller charities, however if this does confuse the request, please focus on those with a direct relationship to the Ambulance Service.l
