Brexit 50p Coin Issue
Dear Royal Mint,
I visited the UK recently, and asked in shops, post offices, banks, and retailers if they had any of the commemorative 50p coins much advertised in the press.
Unfortunately, no one had seen one.
Please could you disclose to me,
1) How many of the commemorative 50p coins have been minted, and how many are in public circulation
2) The date the coins first entered public circulation
3) The number of coins struck in the 'strike your own coin' event on the day
4) The form of words used on the coin, with or without the 'Oxford comma'
Yours faithfully,
P John
