1. How many MOT tests were carried out in the facility in the financial year 2016/2017? If that data is not collected for each financial year, please provide the date for the last 12 month period available.

2. What percentage of those tests related to the Council’s own vehicle’s rather than members of the public

3. How many taxi and PHV tests were conducted during the last available 12 month period?

I write further to your e-mail received by the Council on 19/02/2018 where
you made the following request for information.

 

The Council’s response to your request is as follows;

 

Request;

1.How many MOT tests were carried out in the facility in the financial
year 2016/2017? If that data is not collected for each financial year,

facility for the last available 12 month period.
6. When were the services provided by the Bradley Fold facility last put

Response;

Following are our response to the items above:-

1)   414

2)   30%

3)   2163

4)   It is an internal charge to License which is incorporated in the
license fee

5)   The vehicle workshop has a budget of circa £582k, the element of the
vehicle testing amounts to circa £127k pa, it has been calculated that the
workshop make £1.15 from each test.

    2016/2017 – Income £126,273 with a profit of 2.33%

6)   There is no legal reason to tender this business, it was originally
many years ago, with an agreed level of service that was to be provided to
Licensing
