Boxing Day Hunt Road Closure

The request was successful.

Dear South Somerset District Council,

Please could you tell me:-

Is SSDC the authority to which Hunts should apply in order to hold their Boxing Day Parades through our towns (specifically, Crewkerne)?

Which permit should they seek: a TPCA, TTRO, or any other Road Closure Order?

If SSDC is the issuing authority, has the Seavington Hunt applied for any permit/ permission to ride through Crewkerne using its roads for their Boxing Day Parade at all over the past five years?

Has the Seavington Hunt applied to ride through Crewkerne for Boxing Day 2022?

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Little
