I write further to your request for information received on 19 February
2020.

You requested

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request data on
roadworks carried out under your authority. Can I please receive a total
count of roadworks that the council carried out within the date ranges of:
01/04/2016 - 31/03/2017 01/04/2017 - 31/03/2018 01/04/2018 - 31/03/2019 If
I could please receive this as a total count for each year individually
that would be fantastic.

Unfortunately from your recent correspondence we are unable to identify
the information you have requested and we require some further details
from you in order to progress your request. In particular, it would be
useful to know if it is just works carried out by the Council that you
want information about or is it work by utilities, also is it just very
minor works such as pothole repairs or just excavation works /
resurfacing…

Please advise us of how you wish to proceed with your request by

Dear Mr Hunter,

Thank you for your clarification below however having shared with our highways services they have asked for more details as follows:-

Whether the information you require needs to contain all highway activities carried out on both carriageways and footways during the relevant period?

Can you also specify or list which particular roadwork types you refer to as the council carries out a multiple of varying highway related activities?' (such as Road Repairs, Street Lighting maintenance, Drainage, Street furniture, Road Markings, Gritting etc) which all could be defined as roadwork types.

If you want everything which your clarification states, we suspect it will take it beyond the 18 hours.

Please advise. If we do not received clarification within 2 months of this email the matter will be closed.
