1. Historic data of typical taxi (black cab) fares in 2005-2019 (namely minimum fare, fare per mile or minute, extra charges, if applicable etc.)

2. When did black cabs start to accept credit/debit card payments?

3. Have black cabs implemented online booking system (like Uber application)? If yes, when?

We have considered your request for information.

In response to your questions, please see as follows:

1. The Council's current hackney carriage fare structure is available
online at: www.guildford.gov.uk/taxi. The current chart, and fare charts
from previous reviews to 2013 are also attached. The Council no longer has
records of reviews prior to this.

2. Guildford licensed hackney carriages were mandated to take card
payments from 1 April 2019. Details are available online at:

3. The Council does not hold information as to whether taxis have
implemented an online/app based booking system for their services.
