As you will note Mr Houston undertakes all his duties with the knowledge and approval of the senior management of the University. Any activities Mr Houston undertakes as part of his duties during University time or using University resources are considered by the University to be core to his role as the Director of Research and Innovation Services.

Mr Houston's status as the Director of Research and Innovation Services continues until the conclusion of his formal relationship with the institution in the first quarter 2010.

The University holds no information on Mr Houston's plans post-University of Dundee and you should treat this email as notice of that under S.17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
