Dear FOI Responses,
Incorrect for Question 1?

Yours sincerely,

Caroline Rae

FOI Responses, Hartlepool Council

Dear Caroline, please can you further explain your response in order for us to conduct an internal review of our original response, as we are unsure what you mean when you say 'incorrect for question 1'. As explained in the original response Bedroom Tax is not applicable to private landlords or owner occupied. Please would you specify exactly what type of "payments" you mean in question one

Dear FOI Responses,

Dear FOI Responses,
I live in Uppingham Street and am liable to pay bedroom tax
Am I the only household liable?

Yours sincerely,

Caroline Rae

Dear FOI Responses,

I live in Uppingham Street and pay bedroom tax. Is this an error or am I the only tenant in the streets stated that pays bedroom tax?

Yours sincerely,

Caroline Rae

Dear FOI Responses,
How many tenants pay bedroom tax in the streets stated in the original request?

Yours sincerely,

Caroline Rae

FOI Responses, Hartlepool Council

Dear Caroline

Further to an internal review, I can advise as below;

If a property is owned by the Council (who own and let a small number of properties across Hartlepool) or a Registered Provider then restriction under Social Sector Size Criteria may apply.

A further check showed one property in the streets listed as being subject to possible restriction under Social Sector Size Criteria ("bedroom tax"). The other properties listed in this request are either owned by Private Landlords or owner occupied and therefore are not subject to Social Sector Size Criteria ("bedroom tax")

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, www.ico.org.uk
