Dear Brent Borough Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Brent Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'BCF - iBCF (Adult Social Care)'.
Your response to my request, 'Since 2014/15 (year on year) what percentage of the Better Care Fund (BCF) and improved Better Care Fund (iBCF) available to the council has gone to Adult Social Care and what percentage of the BCF and iBCF has gone to other council departments or the general fund' was as follows:
'The Better Care Fund and improved Better Care Fund are ring-fenced grants that wholly have to be allocated to Adult Social Care.'
Thank you for the information that the BCF and iBCF grants were ring-fenced for allocation to Adult Social Care. The information we seek to obtain is whether the ring-fencing was respected, or whether the funds were spent elsewhere in the years stated.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...
