BCC responsibility for dog fouling

The request was successful.

Dear Belfast City Council,

Since you became responsible for fining dog owners who do not clean up mess left by their pets -

1. how many claims have you received from people who have slipped, fallen or been injured in any way as a result of uncleared dog faeces,
2. how many of these claims have been accepted by you,
3. how much have you paid in compensation to successful claimants,
4. what have you levied in fines during the same period and
5. what proportion of those levied fines have been collected by you?

Yours faithfully,

Alan Saunders
