BBC Shop profits
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
I hope that you may be able to assist.
I am a UK citizen and am currently abroad. I have just visited the BBC Website and seen a shop (https://shop.bbc.com/) operated by BBC Studios America which you state at the bottom of the site '© This is a page from BBC Studios Americas Inc, who help fund new BBC programmes.'
Please will you state the;
-Total sales figures for the BBC Shop in 2017
-Total profits for the BBC Shop in 2017
-Total monetary amount (from the above) that came back to the BBC (UK).
-Details of the financial agreement between BBC UK and BBC Studios America that detail how this shop is run.
-Details of how much money from the profits of the sales of these goods does not go back into the BBC.
