DBS vetting is a legal requirement

I. How many Barristers to date have registered with the Bar

II. Can you tell me numerically
A. how many trainee Bars have a standard DBS
B. How many trainee Bars have a enhanced DBS
C. How many qualified Bars have a standard DBS
D. How many qualified Bars have a enhanced DBS

III. How many years does Bars keep record of a trainee and qualified solicitors DBS vetting and police history on their system for

IIII. According to the Bar of council can a solicitor act/represent a client as a Barristers in any of the courts

V. Which area of law has the highest number of Barristers?
A. Which area of law requires an enhanced DBS? e.g Family, Criminal, Financial etc

The General Council of the Bar is not subject formally to the Freedom of
Information Act as we are not a public authority as outlined in Schedule 1
