Barnett Payments caused by HS2

HM Treasury did not have the information requested.

Dear Her Majesty’s Treasury,

The Government is spending vast sums of money on HS2 which will only operate in England. Please provide:

1. The total amount expenditure on HS2 has already triggered in Barnett payments to each of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
2. The amounts of any future payments that have been calculated to each of those countries for the remainder of the HS2 project
3. Any contingencies for Barnett payments due to HS2 going over budget.

Yours faithfully,

Graeme Amis
