Dear Trust Data,

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my request. Please could you provide a list of schools that are currently a part of the Trust.

As you have provided separate data on staffing for the Sixth Form and Lyndon, is it possible for you to also provide separate data for students for them so the two sets can be placed against each other.

I am pleased to hear of the the Trust's commitment to improving the diversity of your workforce, particularly in senior positions. I would be interested in hearing more about it so it could possibly be used as exemplar for other schools. You may also wish to encourage your staff to join in with education networks who are engaged in similar work, such as BAMEed (national and West Midlands).

Its good to hear of your response to the Black Lives Matter movement, especially in your emphasis on structural racism and white privilege. Are you willing to share the staff reading list with me? In any case, you may wish to point to the resources page on the national BAMEed network where you will find a long list of relevant books and other matter.

I wish you the best in your efforts in this respect, especially your forthcoming focus on antiracism at Trust and Academy level.

Yours sincerely,

Karamat Iqbal

Dear Trust Data,

Thank you for responding to my further questions and providing the reading list. Its great that you are doing this. A glance over the list made me think it was race-focussed. You may wish to add to it some culture/religion resources, given the Birmingham demographics. A good place to start is the website here: https://www.bameednetwork.com/articles/

Yours sincerely,

Karamat Iqbal
