Dear Dr. Iqbal,

 

Thank you for your FOI request dated 23 March 2020.

 

Due to the Government requirements relating to the closure of schools
during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to provide an answer to your
request within the statutory timeframe due our academies being closed.
Resources are being diverted to safeguard vulnerable pupils and the
children of key workers as a priority. We will respond your request as
soon as we are able once the academies re-open and we will update you at
that point with a realistic timeframe.

 

Our approach follows the advice of the Information Commissioner’s Office.
You will be able to find more information on their approach to COVID-19 on
their website: [1]www.ico.org.uk.

 

We are aware that this request has been submitted to North Birmingham,
Shenley and Heartlands Academies, we will therefore provide information on
this basis, if this is not correct, please let us know. You should be
aware that all FOI requests are managed centrally, rather than by the

We are aware that you requested this information for North Birmingham
Academy, Shenley Academy and Heartlands Academy. We have responded on that
basis.

 

In respect of your request, you asked us to provide:

With regard to the request for information relating to percentages of
staff by grade, we apply an exemption in relation to this under Section
40(2) of the Act. This is because the information could be potentially
identifiable to the individuals.

 

We operate a regional model of governance at E-ACT.  This means our
governance functions in our regions are performed by our Regional
Education Directors and our Regional Operations Directors.

 

Please see our latest Annual Report 2018-2019 on our E-ACT website for
more information about our governance structure.

 

The Trust has an Equality Policy, and actively encourages and accepts
