School is officially closed by the government because of the Coronavirus pandemic and therefore when school officially re-opens we will respond to your FOI request. We have already responded to this request in the last academic year however because schools are supporting the national effort to control the coronavirus pandemic we are unable to respond at this time.

We welcome students from all ethnic backgrounds equally. In respect of students starting in year 7 the local authority assigns the school places using the following criteria:
Admission Criteria
When there are more applications than places available at the school the following criteria will be used to determine which children will be allocated places:
1. Children with a EHCP and/or disabilities as defined in the School Admissions Code who will be offered a place at their nearest co-educational community school if it is not possible to meet any of their preferences; unless they have been offered a place in a school with a special needs resource base which caters for their needs.
2. Children looked after by the Local Authority (Children in Public Care).
3. Children with a brother already at the school who will still be in attendance at the time the sibling enters the school.
